The T.7 – trainers of a generation
The two-seat T.7 variant of the Hawker Hunter was developed from 1958 as a training aircraft for the Royal Air Force. With over 1,900 units built, the Hunter series had a significant impact on post-war aviation.
The T.7 played a key role in pilot training and was also used by other NATO air forces. The Dutch Air Force in particular relied on this reliable trainer with its good-natured flight characteristics.
