International roots, German tradition
The success story began in California in 1947 when Lewis H. Glaser developed the idea of plastic model making. In 1956, the German Revell Plastics GmbH was founded in Bünde, which quickly developed into the European center for innovative model building products. What began as a sale of American kits became an independent success story with European developments and productions.

Revell today serves three central business areas:

- Remote-controlled models: Innovative RC products for beginners and professionals
- Toys: Complementary product lines for different target groups
