Toy Award 2017 – Revell Control X-treme VR Racer

Virtual reality and remote-controlled car – this combination particularly excites boys and their fathers! The powerful Revell Control X-treme Raver VR Racer is controlled via remote control. If you activate the associated VR glasses, this opens up completely unexpected perspectives - from the perspective of the car. You can drive around the corner and see what's behind the wall. It's as exciting as in the Matrix when you see the car driving towards you. For the glasses, a free app is downloaded onto your smartphone, then the cell phone is clamped into the recess provided and you're ready to go. The jury liked it so much that they chose this innovative game idea as the winner in the Teens & Adults category.

Toy Award 2016 for Revell Junior Kit

Whether it's a fire engine, a sleek roadster, a racing car, an off-road vehicle or a police car: with the new Junior Kit line, the model building specialist Revell is setting new standards in model building with five attractive car models for kids. For the first time, it is possible to assemble realistically designed models with an intuitive screw system without any effort. The concept convinced the expert jury at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, who awarded it the “Toy Award 2016” in the PreSchool category. In addition to the concept, quality and fun, the expert jury also evaluated the potential that the new concept has for the market.

Revell Control X-Spy 2.0 named Top10 Toy 2015

It is the dream of many amateur photographers: to take impressive pictures and videos from lofty heights. With the new X-Spy 2.0 this is now child's play. With intelligent control and the latest technology, impressive images can be taken, which can also be streamed directly to your smartphone thanks to WiFi technology. This also convinced the jury of the Federal Association of Toy Retailers, who just voted the X-Spy 2.0 as the “Top 10 Toys of 2015”.

Toy Award 2014 for the Revell Control Mini Quad

Now the smallest in the range is actually the largest. The Nano Quad, a new addition to the Revell Control range, was awarded the coveted Toy Award at the start of the Nuremberg Toy Fair. With the super agile mini quadrocopter, Revell presents what is probably the smallest of its kind in the world. With a length and width of just 45 mm each and a height of 10 mm, it is not much larger than a two-euro piece. Thanks to its GHz remote control electronics, its quality is in no way inferior to the larger models. Whether stable take-offs and landings, speed turns or the fastest turns, the mini power package, which weighs just 11.5 grams and is powered by four powerful electric motors, reacts lightning-fast to all control commands. The jury was ultimately impressed by the great control properties.

Revell models were named model vehicles of the year 2013

We are proud that the approximately 15,000 readers of “Modell Fahrzeug” magazine have chosen two of our models as “Model Vehicle of the Year”. Our New Tool VW Beetle Sedan was honored in the “Car 1:24/25 model making” category and our model of the VW T1 panel van particularly impressed readers in the “Commercial vehicle 1:24/25 model making” category. We are particularly pleased that we were once again awarded the title “Premium Brand Modellbau” by our readers this year.
