Background information
The history of the ETV Waker begins in 1976, when the ship was launched under the name "Smit Houston". Its most notable transformation took place in 1990, when it was refitted for Greenpeace and equipped with a helipad. Since 1995, the ocean-going tug has been serving the Dutch Coast Guard in Den Helder under the name "Waker" and reaches a speed of 14 knots thanks to its powerful engines.

For beginners, Revell models with Skill level 1 or 2. Level 1 include simple plug-in kits without glue, while Level 2 requires basic adhesive work. These models have fewer components (usually 20-50 parts) and simple color schemes. Experienced model builders should only start from level 3, since detailed painting and precise adhesive work are already required here.
The packaging colors show basic painting for quick results. However, the building instructions contain detailed color recommendations for authentic, true -to -scale replicas. Professional model builders use the extended color palette of the instructions for more realistic results. This enables simple projects as well as experts to replicate detail.
Revell publishes new models and new editions of classic kits every month. Around 60-80 new products appear every year, including aircraft, ships, cars and RC models.
