Background information
The Bismarck was the largest and best-known battleship of the German navy during the Second World War. With a displacement of over 50,000 tons, massive armament and technical superiority, she became a symbol of German naval power. Her first and only operational voyage, Operation Rheinübung, ended dramatically after the sinking of the British battle cruiser Hood. Pursued by the Royal Navy, the Bismarck became unmaneuverable after an air torpedo hit and was finally sunk by her own crew. Her fate continues to fascinate model makers and historians to this day - making her one of the most important ships in naval history.
Start your project with the Bismarck now and become part of this fascinating story. Get the starter kit - while stocks last!

For beginners, Revell models with Skill level 1 or 2. Level 1 include simple plug-in kits without glue, while Level 2 requires basic adhesive work. These models have fewer components (usually 20-50 parts) and simple color schemes. Experienced model builders should only start from level 3, since detailed painting and precise adhesive work are already required here.
The packaging colors show basic painting for quick results. However, the building instructions contain detailed color recommendations for authentic, true -to -scale replicas. Professional model builders use the extended color palette of the instructions for more realistic results. This enables simple projects as well as experts to replicate detail.
Revell publishes new models and new editions of classic kits every month. Around 60-80 new products appear every year, including aircraft, ships, cars and RC models. The list of novelties is updated at the beginning of the month. Collectors and enthusiasts should regularly check the Revell web shop, since limited editions are often quickly sold out.
Revell invests significantly in product development, precise injection molds and detailed building instructions.
