Next generation model building

What makes the click system so special?

The click system is based on a sophisticated plug-in principle in which the components are connected to each other by precisely manufactured connecting elements. This technology completely eliminates the need for adhesives and ensures a significantly cleaner way of working. The connections are designed in such a way that they offer firm hold and at the same time can be solved again if necessary.

Advantages for every model builder

The adhesive -free construction brings several decisive advantages. On the one hand, drying times are eliminated, which accelerates the construction process considerably. On the other hand, the fingers remain clean because no sticky residues can arise. Beginners in particular appreciate the fault tolerance of the system - incorrectly positioned parts can be easily loosened and placed correctly.

Precision meets user -friendliness

The components of the click system are manufactured with the highest precision to ensure optimal fit. Each part fits into the overall structure to the millimeter, which creates professional results. The colored pipes have already been pre -colored, which optionally makes additional paintwork and further reduces the time required.

Quality and detailed fidelity

Despite the simplified construction, no compromises have to be made in the detail. The models impress with the finest details and authentic proportions. The robust construction ensures that the finished models remain stable even with more frequent handling and keep their shape.

The most frequently asked questions

For beginners, Revell models with skill level 1 or 2 are recommended. Level 1 includes simple plug-in kits without glue, while level 2 requires basic gluing work. These models have fewer components (usually 20-50 parts) and simple color schemes. Experienced model makers should only start at level 3, as this already requires detailed painting and precise gluing work.

The packaging colors show a basic painting for quick results. However, the construction instructions contain detailed color recommendations for authentic, true-to-scale replicas. Professional model makers use the instructions' extended color palette for more realistic results. This enables both beginners to create simple projects and experts to create detailed replicas.

Revell releases new models and new editions of classic kits every month. Around 60-80 new products are released every year, including airplanes, ships, cars and RC models. The list of new products is updated at the beginning of each month. Collectors and enthusiasts should check the Revell webshop regularly, as limited editions often sell out quickly.

Revell invests significantly in product development, precise injection molds and detailed construction instructions. Each model goes through extensive design processes, tool making and quality control according to the EN 71.5 standard. The higher costs result from licensed original artwork, multilingual instructions and the use of high-quality plastics that enable precise details.

You can obtain spare parts for Revell models from official customer service or authorized dealers. Many parts can be reordered individually, although an exact kit number is required. Alternatively, specialized model building communities offer exchanges. For older, no longer produced models, 3D printing services or aftermarket manufacturers can often help.

The basic equipment includes plastic glue, side cutters, files, basic paints (black, white, gray) and brushes of various sizes. Primer, clear coat and detail brushes are recommended for advanced projects. A cutting mat set and good lighting significantly improve the quality of work. Budget beginners can start well with around 50-80 euros.

Revell RC models are differentiated according to age groups. Ready-to-run models are suitable for ages 8 and up, while kit RC models require experience in model building. Adults benefit from expandable systems and tuning options. The skill level marking helps with selection - RC beginners should start with levels 1-2, even as adults.

The Revell range includes over 400 active models, which is challenging for small retailers in terms of inventory and finances. Specialist retailers tend to focus on popular categories or regional preferences. The official Revell web shop offers the full range, while local dealers often allow special orders. Remaining stocks of older models can often be found in specialized model making shops.

We accept product suggestions via the contact form on the website. Successful proposals take into account market potential, licensability and technical feasibility. Keep in mind that developing new models takes 12-24 months. Detailed suggestions with reference material have a higher chance of success, but due to the high volume, not all ideas can be implemented.

All Revell products comply with the European toy standard and are regularly tested for harmful substances. Safety instructions in the construction instructions are mandatory and particularly concern adhesives and paints. Models below skill level 3 are designed for children aged 10 and over, higher levels require supervision or are only recommended for children aged 14 and over. The CE marking confirms conformity.
