Background information
The Arado AR196 was the standard water aircraft of the German Navy and operated on battleships and cruisers. Between 1938 and 1944, over 500 copies were built, which particularly proved themselves in the Enlightenment and submarine hunt. These models have fewer components (usually 20-50 parts) and simple color schemes. Experienced model builders should only start from level 3, since detailed painting and precise adhesive work are already required here.
The packaging colors show basic painting for quick results. However, the building instructions contain detailed color recommendations for authentic, true -to -scale replicas. Professional model builders use the extended color palette of the instructions for more realistic results. This enables simple projects as well as experts to replicate detail.
Revell publishes new models and new editions of classic kits every month. Around 60-80 new products appear every year, including aircraft, ships, cars and RC models.
