Information for civil drones (unmanned aerial vehicles)
Since December 31, 2020, the EU regulations in 2019/945 and 2019/947 have been in the EU and EASA member states for the safe operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as drones) in European airspace.
Drones are divided into different categories and classes: Drones from the Revell Control brand are usually toys in accordance with EU Directive 2009/48/EC or drones, with a starting mass of less than 250 g that fly more than 19 m/s that correspond to the "Open/A1", class "C0".
Therefore, these drones and/or their operators are generally not subject to registration.
When buying, make sure that the class is divided into which the respective drone is divided.
